Apply for up to 50% funding for public charging stations

About the funding

From 13 to 30 April, applications can be submitted for investment grants covering up to 50% of the cost of public charging stations.

The funding is primarily aimed at property owners looking to install public charging. Certain housing associations may also be eligible, depending on their circumstances.

Public charging means that the charging points must be available to people other than residents.

The funding is part of Klimatklivet and is administered by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

Eligibility requirements

To qualify, the project must meet requirements including:

• At least four charging points
• A charging capacity of 10–50 kW
• The charging points must be publicly accessible

As the application period is short, projects need to be well prepared before applications open.
