Aimo enters into a major operating agreement with Alecta

Midway between Stockholm City and Arlanda lies Bredden, a growing retail and workplace area with approximately 3,000 employees and 3,500 parking spaces. With its strategic location next to the E4 and proximity to Arlanda, approximately 85,000 vehicles pass through the area per day, where Scandic is one of the larger operations.

 

– In recent years, we have worked hard to be able to offer smart, comprehensive solutions in everything from parking to electric car charging and car sharing under one roof. With an area like Bredden, we now have the opportunity to show our full potential, says Mikael Salakari, Business Area Manager Stockholm Mark, Aimo Park.

Close collaboration for increased understanding of needs

Since March 1, Aimo has been handling all signage, security and rental of parking spaces in the area on behalf of Alecta Fastigheter. In order to gain a deeper insight into the needs in the area, they are also on site in their own office premises at Bredden. At least during the initial part of the collaboration.

 

– We see it as a benefit for Alecta Fastigheter and an advantage for us. In this way, our contact paths to Alecta Fastigheter are as short as for us internally, which ensures good collaboration, explains Mikael.

 

Bredden's complexity and diversity of target groups have been both an inspiring and fun challenge to familiarize ourselves with for the team working with Bredden.

 

– Parking is often the first and last impression on the customer journey, says Richard Midsander, Business Developer Stockholm Mark. Therefore, it is important for us to be able to offer safe, accessible and flexible parking for all the different customers who park at Bredden. We are now in the middle of the first stage and I look forward to the continued development of improving the parking experience.

 

New solutions in three stages

During the year, Aimo's camera solutions, Aimo Share's car sharing services and Aimo Charge's electric car charging will be implemented at Bredden. To make the transition as smooth as possible, all new services will be rolled out in three stages.

• During stage 1, the focus is on getting to know the facilities' needs better and enabling Aimo Share's car pool at the circular parking lot outside Scandic. The location of Aimo Share is strategically chosen to reduce traffic flow into the area and at the same time be easily accessible for Bredden's customers. To make the transition to Aimo as easy as possible, Aimo's new payment service Scan and Pay will also begin to be offered in the area during April. Instead of downloading and getting started with the Aimo app, customers can just scan a QR code and pay for their parking via Swish.
• During stage 2, the installation of Aimo's own camera system Aimo Park Easy will begin at all entrances and exits to the parking facilities. In the retail area, Aimo's digital visitor solutions will be put in place so that retailers can offer their customers the most seamless parking possible.
• During stage 3, all charging stations at the facility will be reviewed and offered Aimo Charge's full-scale services for operating the charging points in the area.

By the end of the year, all of Aimos' services will be in place and together offer a full-scale concept for everything related to parking and mobility for Bredden's customers.

 

“An advantage for Alecta Fastigheter is that they get one and the same contact surface for all of these services,” adds Mikael. The fact that we can offer both parking, charging, car sharing and various camera solutions under one umbrella provides both quick feedback and easier management of all services.
