New app from Aimo Park gives access to 250,000 parking spaces in Sweden

Aimo Park is launching its new app, which provides access to 250,000 parking spaces at over 6,000 addresses in Sweden. The app is called Aimo and is available for download in the app stores.

- ‘With our new Aimo app, we can offer smart, innovative and customer-friendly services in mobility. A greatly expanded network for electric car charging and the possibility of a corporate account are just some of the features we have in the pipeline,’ says Aimo Park's CEO Peder Ståhlberg.

3 million users get even easier parking
Aimo replaces the company's previous parking app MobilPark. The nearly three million users who have MobilPark will see in-app messages prompting them to install the Aimo app instead. MobilPark users can move their data to the Aimo app by creating an account with the same email address or login method used in MobilPark and choosing to move their data. Registered vehicles and payment cards will then also be transferred to the Aimo app.

Aimo Park is now starting to re-sign with new information in the car parks, and expects it to be completed nationwide in spring 2023. To make the transition as easy as possible, both Aimo and MobilPark will work in parallel during the re-sign, regardless of which of the two apps is visible on the current sign.

Aimo Park är idag en ledande aktör inom parkering och mobilitet i Sverige, Norge och Finland. Lanseringen av den nya appen Aimo innebär att alla tre länderna kommer att samlas i samma app. Först ut är Sverige, följt av Norge och Finland senare under 2023.

Aimo is now available for free download in the App store and Google play. The service is also available as a web app. All information and updates on Aimo can be found on the app's own website aimoapp.se
